Vermentino

Vermentino (a.k.a. Rolle) is a Mediterranean, light-skinned grape grown in Sardinia, the coast of Tuscany, Provence and the island of Corsica. Wines made from Vermentino tend to be lively and light-bodied with bright acidity, citrus and mineral aromas and a slight green almond bitterness on the finish. In Provence Vermentino is a key blending grape in the production of rose wine.
