Antinori - Tenuta Tignanello : Tignanello 2012

The 2012 Tignanello of Antinori displays a ruby-tinted intense red colour, with purple highlights. The wine is strong and complex. This fine Toscan wine gives off aromas of spices, red berries and smoky fragrances with a hint of balsamic. After airing, the rich aromas fully express themselves: black cherry, plum, liquorice, thyme, tobacco... On the palate, the 2012 Tignanello is an elegant Chianti Classico with good volume and a velvety texture. The wood is perfectly blended in a spicy and fruity finish. This vintage, just like the others, is a beautiful example of the skills of the Antinori family to produce great quality wines.
