The estate
A fine red wine from Bordeaux, the Cuvée Compostelle 2019 by Château Côte Montpezat expresses the typical qualities of the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation.
The vineyard
This cuvée is made from vines aged 35 to 40 years from 29 hectares dedicated to red varieties. These old vines are planted in clay-limestone soils.
The winemaking
Vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Maceration for 27 to 32 days at 28 ° C.
The ageing
12 months. 50% in new French oak barrels. 50% in stainless steel tanks.
The blend
Merlot (85%), cabernet franc (15%).
