Description
The balance and freshness of a Chilean wine from Central Valley
The estate
Located in the Cachapoal Valley, on the foothills of the Andes, VIK is the first Chilean cru. Created by Alex and Carrie VIK, the estate has a vineyard of over 300 hectares in the Millahue Valley, named by the indigenous Mapuche people "Lugar de Oro" or "Golden Place". The result of an exceptional terroir, combined with the best viticulture and winemaking techniques, the wines of the VIK estate are recognised for their elegance combined with a rare aromatic richness.
The vineyard
VIK is a Chilean wine made from vines grown in Millahue, in the Cachapoal Valley on a deep and porous granite soil.
Blend
VIK 2021 is the result of a blend of cabernet franc (77%) and cabernet sauvignon (23%).
