Description
A red Grand Vin from Margaux
With ancient origins dating back to the 13th century, Château La Tour de Bessan is one of the most important references of the Margaux appellation, on the Left Bank of Bordeaux.
Owned by Vignobles Marie-Laure Lurton, the Château La Tour de Bessan estate includes an exceptional vineyard property of 31.28 hectares of vines planted in deep gravel soils dating back to the Quaternary period. Since 2003, the estate has been labeled "Terra Vitis".
A red Grand Vin from Margaux, the Château La Tour de Bessan 2018 is made with the greatest respect for terroir and fruit. The fruit was selected plot-by-plot, and then vinified in a way to best express each grape variety. The length of barrel ageing depends each year on the characteristics of the vintage.
Representative of the characteristics of the Margaux appellation, the Château La Tour de Bessan 2018 is made from a blend of Merlot (60%), complemented with Cabernet Sauvignon (29%) and Petit Verdot (11%).
