The Chateau La Tour de Mons history dates back to over four centuries. The single region walled vineyard - true clos - stretches over 58 hectares and is located North of the Margaux appellation, on the Garonne banks. 
This 2009 is 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. 
The wine displays a beautiful purple-tinted deep red colour. The 2009 Chateau La Tour de Mons exhales an aromatic palette of ripe red berry, mixed with floral notes. The attack is fleshy; the really persistent tannic structure is precise and velvety. This 2009 Margaux distinguishes itself by its richness and elegance.
