Description
The richness and elegance of a Corsican rosé wine
The estate
Situated at an altitude of over 100 metres, Domaine Comte Abbatucci is one of the oldest vineyards in Corsica.
With its origins dating back over a century, the estate pays tribute, through its wines, to its illustrious family figures (General of the French Revolution, diplomat, minister under the reign of Napoleon III) who have marked the family history.
Eager to preserve this exceptional island's terroirs, the estate cultivates local grape varieties which give its Corsican wines a unique character.
Since 2000, the entire vineyard has been cultivated biodynamically, in order to enhance the characteristics of an exceptional Corsican terroir.
The vineyard
Produced as a Vin de France, the Faustine Vieilles Vignes rosé 2021 by Domaine Comte Abbatucci stems from a north/north-west facing vineyard and rests on granitic soil.
The blend
Sciaccarello (100%).
