2014 Sauvignon Sancerre
Domaine Henri Bourgeois' 2014 Grande Reserve is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. The vines grow on limestone-clay slopes located between Chavignol village and the town of Sancerre.
The golden yellow hued Sancerre first reveals intense fragrances of elderberry and blackcurrant bud. The nose evolves with larger bouquet including more flowers, mint leaves, juicy yellow peaches and mango. On the palate, the attack is forward, dense, and fresh. The superbly balanced wine from Loire Valley boasts perfect harmony of mineral, fruit, and density.
