A magnificent vintage at the estate, 2018 marks the very first cuvee of Château Belle-Vue produced from a blend of the five emblematic grape varieties of the Médoc, west of the Bordeaux region.

The 2018 vintage started with conditions that required a lot of work in the vineyard. However, the beautiful summer and long autumn that followed made it possible for the teams to bring in the best quality fruit. At Château Belle-Vue, the grape harvest began on September 26 with the Merlot, followed by Petit Verdot on October 12, Cabernet Sauvignon between October 10 and 17, and finished with Cabernet Franc and Carménère.

A beautiful reference from the Haut-Médoc, the Château Belle-Vue 2018 is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (48%), Merlot (30%), Petit Verdot (20%), Cabernet Franc (1%) and Carménère (1%).

The Château Belle-Vue 2018 clearly expresses the typicality of a Haut-Médoc wine from great soils of deep, coarse gravel. The Château Belle-Vue 2018 offers a superb expression of fruit with great freshness. The signature grape variety of the property, Petit Verdot, brings its unique personality to this vintage.
