2007 Margaux 2e Cru Classe

The 2007 Chateau Lascombe reveals a very dark, violet-tinted purple-red colour. The first nose is shut with very subtle hints of roasted coffee which unveil the wine complexity at the swirl. Scents of ripe black fruits and cherry largely command over hints of wood. The attack is forward. This Margaux 2e Cru Classe from Bordeaux is concentrated, elegant, delicate, round, and rather feminine than strong. The tannins are very present and distinguished while tannins from wood remain delicate. The finish offers ripe fruit and lovely length.
