The estate

Arnaud, Lionel and Jean-Christophe Bourgeois are the third generation at the helm of the family estate founded in 1950 by Henri Bourgeois. Covering 72 hectares, the vineyard of Domaine Henri Bourgeois stretches across a mosaic of terroirs made up of clay-limestone soils, Kimmeridgian marl and flint, all of which contribute to the signature style of each of these Loire wines. Through the passion and rigour applied to both vineyard management and parcel-by-parcel vinification, of which it was one of the pioneers, the Bourgeois family produces wines renowned for their quality, finesse and precision.

Pouilly Fume Demoiselle Bourgeois 2018

Born of a meticulous selection of berries harvested at St Laurent l'Abbaye, the cradle of the estate's first vines, La Demoiselle de Bourgeois is a Pouilly-Fumé crafted from Sauvignon Blanc of great elegance. On the nose, it seduces with intense aromas of white fruits and white flowers, delicately carried by subtle woody nuances. On the palate, this wine reveals a beautiful complexity combining liveliness, fruity generosity and a harmonious touch of oak. A refined Loire wine, both expressive and balanced, that bears witness to the expertise of the Bourgeois family.

Pouilly Fume JS 150 2023

Formerly known as La Demoiselle de Bourgeois, this white wine is reborn under the JS-150 name, a tribute to its singular terroir: the Upper Jurassic. Crafted from a meticulous selection of Sauvignon Blanc grapes from St Laurent l'Abbaye, a village whose subsoils of Kimmeridgian marl are home to the very first vines ever planted in the appellation, this Loire wine embodies the quintessence of the Pouilly-Fumé terroir.
