The authentic expression of a Vacqueyras terroir
The estate
The history of the Famille Perrin in the Rhône Valley officially began in 1909 with Pierre Tramier's acquisition of Château de Beaucastel. Now led by Marc Perrin, representing the fifth generation, the estate stands out for its pioneering spirit. The property adopted organic farming as early as 1950, followed by biodynamics in 1974. With a 130-hectare vineyard for its historic estate, this French producer continues to uphold a philosophy that combines absolute respect for terroir with a pursuit of balance.
The vineyard
Located south of the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the commune of Sarrians, the terroir dedicated to this cuvée spans eight leased hectares within the Vacqueyras appellation. The vines, around 50 years old, thrive on sun-drenched terraces. The soils consist of clay, sand, sedimentary safres, and numerous stones from the Ouvèze valley. This unique geology encourages the development of fine power while preserving the aromatic complexity of the grapes.
Grape varieties
This blend is made up of Grenache and Syrah.
