Jean-Luc Colombo : Les Ruchets 2015

The cuvee Cornas Les Ruchets is the first wine created by Domaine Jean-Luc Colombo in 1987. It is exclusively made of Syrah that grows on the granitic soils of the famous steep hills of Chaillot in Cornas. The 2015 displays a garnet-tinted deep red colour. This 2015 Cornas Les Ruchets offers a deep and broad palate with certain strength and great finesse. The tannins are ripped, tight and smooth. Its balance is precise, offers a velvety texture as well as a good length. Complexity is revealed thanks to the ageing in oak barrels.
