An elegant and crystalline sparkling wine from the Jo Landron estate
The property
Jo Landron, an emblematic winemaker from the Nantes region, is renowned for his respectful approach to the vine and the environment. His estate stands out for its biodynamic viticultural practices and a philosophy oriented towards the enhancement of the terroir. Jo Landron's Loire wines are appreciated for their purity and precision, reflecting the richness of their terroir and the care taken at each stage of their elaboration.
The vineyard
Brut Atmosphères is a sparkling wine from Loire produced from a vineyard planted on varied soils of gravel, clay and sand, bringing finesse and minerality to the wine. The vines include young plants less than 10 years old as well as older vines of 30 to 40 years.
Vinification and ageing
The grapes are hand-picked, followed by direct pneumatic pressing of the whole bunches without settling. The alcoholic fermentation, which lasts 2 to 3 weeks, is carried out with indigenous yeasts. After an initial ageing of four months on lees, the wine is bottled for a second fermentation according to the traditional method. It then benefits from a second "on lees" ageing in the bottle for 12 to 24 months before disgorging, with a slight dosage of expedition liqueur (0.1 cl).
Blend
Folle blanche (36%)
