Paul Jaboulet-Aîné : Domaine des Grands Amandiers 2010

Rhone Valley - Condrieu - White - 13.5° Paul Jaboulet-Aîné Paul Jaboulet-Aîné 2010 F771/10
  • Parker : 90

At the beginning of the last century, only around ten hectares of Viognier remained in the Condrieu appellation, but today it has regained its reputation, mainly thanks to the passing of the AOC in 1940. The cuvee 2010 Domaine des Grands Amandiers of Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné is created from a vineyard with Viognier vines of 10 to 30 years of age that grow on granite (sand) soils. This 2010 possesses a green-gold-tinged yellow colour, as well as an expressive nose where litchi, citrus and mild spice aromas blend together. On the palate, it is straight with a mineral accent and a nice acidulous touch on the finish.
