Les Alexandrins Wines : Key Points

Domaine Les Alexandrins was founded in 2009 from the desire of 3 winemakers to showcase the northern Rhône Valley. In 2014, Guillaume Sorrel and Alexandre Caso joined forces with Nicolas Jaboulet, who comes from a family of winegrowers who have been in Tain-l'Hermitage since 1834. This meeting led to the creation of Maison les Alexandrins, a continuation of Maison Nicolas Perrin, then run by Nicolas Jaboulet. These three winemakers share the same ideal of making wines from the northern Rhône Valley, marked by pure classicism, on the historic terroirs of the Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph appellations.

The wines of Domaine Les Alexandrins pay tribute to the old Syrah vines of Crozes-Hermitage, as well as to forgotten vines that are sometimes 90 years old. The vines are grown according to the tradition of the northern Rhône Valley, with limited yields, rigorous plot management and whole harvests depending on the vintage.

Domaine Les Alexandrins produces two cuvées that embody the pure classicism of the Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage appellations.
