A resolutely indulgent and pastry-like bouquet opens on rich aromas of rum-raisin and brown sugar. Interwoven are deep notes of ripe fig and maple syrup, subtly enhanced by a delicate hint of liquorice.

Palate
The attack reveals a superb balance between sweetness and vivacity. Flavours of raspberry and crisp apple meet the indulgence of pistachio, all energised by the zing of a tangy orange zest. The finish, of beautiful persistence, lingers on melting milk chocolate and elegantly rounded oak.

Food pairings and tasting moments
This exceptional spirit is ideally savoured at the end of a meal, as a digestif. Its pastry-like profile calls for indulgent pairings with rich desserts such as a pudding, a candied fruit cake or a milk chocolate and hazelnut entremet. It also enhances mild blue cheeses or aged hard cheeses. For enthusiasts, it will wonderfully accompany a medium-bodied cigar, playing on its subtle tobacco notes.

Although this is an exceptional product that we recommend drinking unadorned, neat or on the rocks, the distillery invites experimentation.
