Palate
The palate offers an enveloping texture and fine volume, carried by pure tension and remarkable minerality. Aromas of lemon, white-fleshed fruit, apricot and melon intertwine harmoniously. The experience concludes with a long finish marked by striking salinity, a true echo of the maritime influences of its terroir.

This cuvée pairs beautifully with seafood. It will elevate seafood platters, crustaceans such as lobster or crab, as well as shellfish and delicate fish.
The rebirth of a historic Corsican terroir by Clos Canarelli
The estate
Founded in 1968 in the Figari region of Corsica, Clos Canarelli is now run by Yves Canarelli, who took over the family estate in 1993. A true pioneer of the island's viticultural renaissance, he has carried out exceptional work restoring native grape varieties that had once been abandoned. The vineyard, farmed organically and biodynamically, spans unique terroirs between Figari and Bonifacio. Under his guidance, the estate has become a key reference, celebrated for its environmentally respectful approach and for showcasing Corsica's historic identity.
The vineyard
Classified as Vin de France, this cuvée comes from a unique three-hectare vineyard planted in 2013. Perched on the cliffs of Bonifacio, these vines thrive on a rare terroir of limestone and chalk, in contrast to the estate's usual granite soils. This historic site, whose replanting rights were acquired after a twenty-year wait, benefits from the constant maritime influence of the coastline.
Winemaking and ageing
To craft the Tarra di Sognu Blanc 2023, the grapes are fully destemmed before fermentation begins in demi-muids. The wine is then aged for eight months in foudres and demi-muids. The use of these neutral vessels allows the wine to evolve while preserving the purity of the fruit, without imparting any woody aromas.
