The Tasca Conti d'Almerita estate comprises 5 wineries, including Tenuta Tascante since 2007. Located in the foothills of Europe's highest volcano, Tasca Conti d'Almerita - Tenuta Tascante owes its uniqueness to its terroir whose volcanic soil greatly contributes to the unique style of these Etna wines.
The vineyard
Ghiaia Nera 2018 by Tasca Conti d'Almerita - Tenuta Tascante is an Etna wine made from the vineyards located at an altitude of 600 metres on the northern slopes of the famous volcano.
Winemaking and ageing
Aged in large Slavonian oak barrels.
