The Aile d'Argent was created by the Baroness Philippine de Rothschild in memory of the story written and published by her father in 1947, and it embodies the precision and purity that is exclusive to the greatest wines of Bordeaux.

A vintage of contrasts that is particularly flattering to the whites, the Aile d'Argent 2017 is crowned as a First Grand Cru Classé of Pauillac and it shines as one of the most beautiful revelations from the Médoc whites this vintage.

In a blend reflecting all the typical Bordeaux white grape varieties (53% Sauvignon Blanc, 46% Sémillon, 1% Muscadelle), the Aile d'Argent 2017 shines with a brilliant yellow colour and shimmers with green hues. Intensely pure, the bouquet reveals a large aromatic palate of delicate white-fleshed fruit, sensual and sweet exotic fruit, and highlighted with fresh citrus notes. The sumptuous attack envelops the palate with a rich and concentrated texture that emphasizes the ample fruit and enhances the perfectly balanced acidity to give tension.
