Description
A lively and balanced Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé
The Estate
With origins dating back to 1647 following its acquisition by the Capdemourlin family, Château Cap de Mourlin is one of the oldest estates in the Saint-Émilion appellation. This family estate has been writing a new chapter in its history since 1983 through renovation work on its facilities to enhance the quality of the wines from this exceptional terroir.
The Vineyard
Located on the northern slopes of Saint-Émilion, the vineyard of Château Cap de Mourlin covers 14 hectares. The vines, averaging 34 years of age, are planted on clay-limestone and clay-siliceous soils.
Blend
Château Cap de Mourlin 2019 is made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
