Château des Annereaux 2016

A generous and spicy Lalande de Pomerol

Chateau des Annereaux is a 22-hectare vineyard in the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, that is Ecocert certified (organic wine). Located on a terroir of sand, gravel and pebbles. Chateau des Annereaux 2016 is rich in fruit and very sweet, with mature tannins. 2016 is a blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes were harvested after a warm and dry summer. Harvest took place from September 21-September 28.

Chateau des Annereaux 2016 possesses a beautiful ruby red, colour with purple reflections. The first impression on the nose brings powerful aromas of black cherries and hints of wood. The mouth has silky, mouth-covering tannins. The palate is expressive, displaying fruitiness, floral and spicy characteristics.
