Bordeaux - Pauillac - Red - 13° Château Duhart-Milon Château Duhart-Milon 2005 1038/05
  • Parker : 93
  • J. Robinson : 16,5

Located west of Château Lafite-RothschildChateau Duhart-Milon vineyard forms a single block of vines spreading on the slopes of Milon, along the Carruades plateau. This Fourth Growth from Pauillac offers a full and neat palate, really fruity, with strong tannins. The finish is remarkably long and elegant finish. From an outstanding vintage year, this enchanting 2005 Chateau Duhart-Milon will reveal all its secrets in due time.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
This property, which has benefitted enormously from tremendous investments from the Rothschild family that owns Lafite, has turned out a dense purple-colored wine in 2005. Offering broad, expansive, supple and silky tannin as well as loads of Asian plum sauce, blackcurrants, and sweet cherries, this wine is seductive, medium to full-bodied, and luscious. This successful effort from the Rothschilds should continue to drink well for at least another two decades.
