The Chateau La Fleur de Bouard 2018 is made from a blend of Merlot (85%), Cabernet Franc (12%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (3%).
When tasted, the Chateau La Fleur de Bouard 2018 displays in the glass a deep purple robe with purplish reflections. The aromatic bouquet seduces with its fruit-forward expression, especially with notes of black fruits and blueberries evolving on powerful aromas of chocolate and liquorice. Revealing a beautiful definition, the palate presents juicy and delicious fruit, evolving constantly upon a structure of dense, tight tannins. Wine Advocate-Parker :
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 La Fleur de Boüard displays pronounced scents of baked blackberries, black cherry coulis and tilled soil with hints of kirsch, dried herbs and fungi. Medium to full-bodied with generous black fruits and a soft texture, it has just enough freshness and an earthy finish. The blend here is 85% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon.
