2011 Corton Grand Cru (Pinot Noir)
Domaine de la Pousse d’Or’s 2011 Corton Grand Cru Bressandes is a single-grape Pinot Noir. The exceptional 0.48 hectares (1.18 acres) vineyard faces east, and lies on mostly limestone-clay soil. Despite contrasted weather conditions, the winemaker’s expertise as well as the incredible capacity of the iconic Burgundy Pinot Noir to adapt created yet another grand vintage: a true success! The 2011 Corton Grand Cru Bressandes reveals an intense garnet hue and complex aromas of fruits (currant) as well as hints of wood. The palate offers great finesse with luscious ripe fruit flavours leading to a delicious finish.
