Shows nice brightness, with fleur de sel notes out front that give this zing from the get-go, followed by pink grapefruit oil, gooseberry and bitter almond hints. The fleur de sel takes an encore on the finish for zip. Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now through 2027.

Refreshing citrus and stone fruit (apricot and peach), within a cloak of soft and creamy oak. Lovely, gentle sweetness and touches of cool lemon, pineapple and bitter orange. Nuanced, although still quite closed, with cedar lingering.

Sliced lemons and pear drops with some hints of cream. Limes. Full-bodied with a creamy and delicious palate of dried fruits and hints of nougat. Chewy and phenolic. Drink or hold.

The 2020 Domaine de la Solitude, a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon, has a lovely, what you might call “sunny” bouquet with yellow plum, honeysuckle and jasmine scents with fine vigor. The palate is taut and fresh, with lovely penetration, taut and spicy thanks to a vein of stem ginger that runs through from start to finish. This wine from Olivier Bernard is well worth seeking out.

Scents of white peaches, flowers, green apples, and honeysuckle show with ease on the nose. Fresh, creamy, and fruity, with a core of sweet, ripe, yellow citrus and spicy pineapple on the finish.

Rather ripe and tropical notes, pineapple, ginger and ripe peach. Rounded palate, ripe acidity with fine bitterness, a herbal spiciness, green tea notes, yellow fruit and fine length.

The 2020 Domaine De La Solitude (Pessac-Léognan) Blanc is classic Sauvignon, with bright citrus and grapefruit aromatics and a medium-bodied, clean, crisp, balanced profile on the palate. It will be versatile at the dinner table and should evolve over 4–6 years, though it’s already great today.

The 2020 Domaine de la Solitude Blanc is composed of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon. It rolls out with notes of Golden Delicious apples, fresh pears, and lemon drops, plus hints of honeysuckle and fresh straw. The palate is medium-bodied and refreshing, with plenty of apple and pear flavors on offer and a peppery lift to the finish.

A free and airy bouquet with notes of lime, lime blossom, and bergamot. The palate brims with irresistible energy, delivering citrusy, smoky, and toasty notes.

The nose is fruity and juicy. It reveals notes of juicy white peach, small white fruits and, more subtly, flowers, with fine hints of juicy small fruits, acacia, and a discreet touch of verbena. The palate is fruity, balanced, and offers juiciness, minerality, good definition, a certain indulgence, smoothness, and fleshiness. On the palate, this wine shows notes of vibrant peach, crisp apple and, more lightly, quenette/lychee, along with touches of sweet pink grapefruit and fine hints of exotic fruit. Good length.
