The cuvée Altenberg de Bergheim 2008 of the Doamine Marcel Deiss is a blend of every Alsatian varietal. It comes from a majestic terroir in the heart of a geological faults, which form a calcareous-clay dominated soil. It has an amber robe and it is spectacular on the nose. It is a true explosion of light and elegant savours. One can notice exotic fruit, candied lemon and acacia honey notes. The vintage 2008 of the Altenberg de Bergheim Marcel Deiss is vibrant,creamy and rich on the mouth. On the palate, this Alsace grand cru reveals a perfect balance with acidulous and fruity notes, as well as a beautiful depth.
