The Elegance and Freshness of a Great White Wine from Vacqueyras
The Estate
The history of Famille Perrin truly begins in 1909 with the acquisition of Château de Beaucastel. Today, this emblematic estate of the Rhône Valley is run by the family's descendants, who continue to uphold an ancestral know-how. A pioneer of organic farming as early as the 1950s and of biodynamics in 1974, the estate stands out for its absolute respect for the terroir. The family upholds values of balance and elegance, placing its wines among the region's most essential references.
The Vineyard
Located to the south of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the vineyard gives rise to this great wine from Vacqueyras. The vines flourish on stony terraces composed of clay, sand and pebbles. This warm, sun-drenched terroir is managed using environmentally friendly methods.
Winemaking and Ageing
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature to preserve the freshness of the aromas. The wine is then carefully aged to refine its structure before bottling.
Grape Varieties
Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Roussanne.
