Wine Advocate-Parker : Marchesi di Barolo's 2013 Barolo Coste di Rose is one of three single-vineyard expressions released in this vintage. Of the three, this wine is the most immediate and accessible. The wine reveals delicate layers of dried cherry, spice and pressed violets. There is a pretty sense of softness to this wine. The tannins are relaxed and void of the biting astringency you get with young Nebbiolo. This is a great near or medium-term Barolo.
