Lallier

The Maison LALLIER is located in Ay, land of Champagne with very ancient origins. In the year 344 the Gallo-Romansßalready knew Ay and its vineyard. The wines from Ay were even mentioned in the works of Pliny the Elder (23-79). Back in 1936 Ay became one of the first towns of hte Champagne region to be classified as a Grand Cru. Nestled in the very heart of AY, above cellars dating back the the 18th Century, this house isßnamed for JAmes René Lallier, the fifth generation of a renowned family in Champagne. In 2004 Francis Tribaut, born in this region and wine enthusiast succeeded him to express his talent and to give a new dimension to this House...
