The glassmaker

Masters in the delicate art of glassmaking, the Riedels form a true dynasty that has seen 11 generations succeed each other, each more talented than the last. For 260 years, this family has been crafting crystal glasses in Austria that highlight the unique style of wines and, more recently, the aromatic diversity of grape varieties.

The range

As their name suggests, the Veritas glasses are authentic and respectful witnesses to the style of wines. The Veritas oenological stemware range was launched in 2014 to offer great wine enthusiasts the lightness and finesse of a hand glass as well as the precision and constant harmony of a machine-made glass. Indeed, these two variables seem to the house to be decisive in the art of tasting, which is why Riedel has imagined machine-blown crystal glasses.

The glass

The Riedel Veritas Riesling/Zinfandel is a tall glass that reveals all the subtlety of the aromatic expressions of the Riesling and Zinfandel grape varieties. Indeed, the wine glass for Riesling and Zinfandel signed by Riedel magnifies with great precision the vast aromatic palette of Riesling, highlighting aromas of flower, lemon, peach as well as mineral notes. On the Zinfandel side, the authentic expression of the typical terroirs of this grape variety known for its plum and vanilla aromas is well represented.
