A seductive, powerful and complex Piedmont red wine

The estate

The Rocche dei Manzoni estate was created in 1974 by Valentino Migliorini and his wife. Comprising a surface area of 50 hectares, the vineyard is managed according to the precepts of biodynamic viticulture in order to enhance the identity and nuances of the multiple terroirs of Piedmont.

The vineyard

Rocche dei Manzoni's Vigna d'la Roul 2016 is a Barolo wine that stems from vineyards located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba.

Fermentation for 20-25 days followed by malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. The initial ageing period of 36 to 48 months in oak barrels is completed by an additional 12 months of ageing following bottling.
