Nose
From the opening, the nose reveals an original and intense character with aromas of olive oil, tar and soot, married with touches of chocolate-coated ginger and freshly cut grass.

Palate
On the palate, the experience is slightly oily with a mentholated and enveloping sweetness. The palate is filled with flavours of toasted bread, creosote, and smoked pineapple, mixed with nuances of dark chocolate, peppermint cream, and glowing embers. This complexity ends on a finish evoking coffee grounds and liquorice, leaving an intense and memorable persistence.

The Traigh Bhan Batch 6 is carefully crafted from peated barley and pure Islay water, before a 19-year ageing in carefully selected oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.
