From the talented Yves Leccia's AOC range, the Era Ora Patrimonio 2014 illustrates the unique character of the excellent Patrimonio appellation located in northern Corsica.

By selecting the most beautiful parcels from the E Croce single terroir, Yves Leccia produces wines bearing a unique imprint: that of clay-limestone terroirs on shale bedrock in Cap Corse.

Revealing the character of native grape varieties from a great terroir, this Era Ora Patrimonio 2014 is produced in the Patrimonio Rouge AOC from a blend of Nielluciu (90%), a local grape variety, and Grenache (10%).

With its ruby-red, dense colour, Yves Leccia's Era Ora Patrimonio 2014 seduces the eyes first. The nose reveals expressive beautiful black fruit notes evoking blackcurrant and blackberry that evolve with aeration into leather notes. On the palate, the greedy attack explodes with flavours that are reminiscent of the aromas, but further intensified with spicy flavours. A lovely tannic structure highlights the finesse of the tannins. This fine Patrimonio is elegant and smooth, displaying the precision of Yves Leccia's style. It can be enjoyed now or cellared beautifully until 2030.
