2015 Bordeaux Blancs Secs, white wine from Chateau Mouton Rothschild.
The Chateau Mouton Rothschild Aile d'Argent vineyard was planted in 1980 and stretches over 4 hectares. This 2015 Bordeaux Blancs Secs is 55% Sauvignon Blanc, 43% Sémillon, 2% Muscadelle.
The 2015 white wine from Chateau Mouton Rothschild displays a golden yellow colour with green highlights. The nose reveals very intense citrusy notes that linger on white peach and pear aromas. The whole is enhanced by a light aniseed touch. The 2015 Chateau Mouton Rothschild Aile d'Argent offers an ample, thick and very complex attack. A wood elegance is felt, enhanced by the aromas persistence such as green tea and apricot. The finish is long and delicious with great smoothness.
Wine Advocate-Parker :
Blended of 55% Sauvignon Blanc, 43% Sémillon and 2% Muscadelle, the 2015 Aile d'Argent charges forth from the glass with gregarious ripe peach, pink grapefruit and orange blossom notes plus touches of beeswax, fresh hay, acacia honey, baking bread and allspice. Medium-bodied, the palate is tightly wound and satiny textured with wonderful freshness defining the palate and lifting the intense stone fruit and savory layers, finishing very long and very minerally.
