The Peppoli d'Antinori is a red wine produced in the Chianti Classico appellation. The 2016 vintage is a blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot and Syrah. Antinori's Peppolli is aged in oak barrels, 10% of the barrels are small.
Antinori's Peppoli 2013 presents an intense ruby red colour. On the nose, it reveals fruity fragrances (cherries), along with floral notes (violets), and vanilla. The wine is tasty and balanced in the mouth, delivering crisp acidity and sweet flavours. The tannins are flexible and the finish develops an aftertaste of fruits and spices as the wine ages. 2013 Antinori Peppoli was built to last.
