Altesino is located at the heart of southern Tuscany. The history-filled land was declared UNESCO World Heritage site in 2004. The property always observed a respectful approach to the maintenance of the vineyard and its surroundings. The domain's philosophy led to significant innovations that improved the production of Montalcino's Sangiovese. Altesino is fortunate to own part of their historical cellars in Palazzo Altesi in addition to another more modern and functional. The 80-hectare domain includes 44 hectares of vines. Altesino detail quality is noticeable at every stage of the winemaking process.
