The elegance of a gourmand and concentrated red grand vin from Saint-Émilion

A very beautiful reference of the right bank, the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Château Poesia has produced a superb 2018 vintage.

Located on the right bank of Bordeaux, Château Poesia covers 9,18 hectares of vineyards, located on the beautiful limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion. The estate's grape plantings are dominated by Merlot (80%), an emblematic grape of the right bank, supplemented by Cabernet Franc (20%).

Product of a very beautiful vintage for Bordeaux, the Poesia 2018 reflects the greatness of the terroir of Saint-Émilion. At the tasting, the vintage displays a dark purple colour. The intense nose opens on notes of small black fruits, evolving mocha, spices and licorice. The nose is punctuated by delicate floral notes with fragrances of dried rose and violet. The gourmet palate has a very generous texture that delivers delicious fruity notes. Concentrated and powerful, the palate shows a strong structure with fine tannins. Balanced by a great freshness, the end of the palate is very long. A magnificent vintage from Poesia that will evolve gracefully in the years to come.
