The 2012 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot Vigne Blanche of Château de la Maltroye displays a straw-tinted yellow hue with green highlights. The both floral and fruity complex nose gives off iris, lemon, or even fresh butter notes. On the palate, the wine is thick yet fresh and the finish carries a really pleasant salty accent. The 2009 Chassagne Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot Vigne Blanche of Château de la Maltroye comes from a vineyard located on a very deep, rich and clayey terroir of 1.06 hectares. This cuvee was aged in oak barrels, of which 30% were new barrels, for 12 months.
