Description
The 2006 Grand-Puy-Lacoste boasts a deep purple-ruby hue. This Pauillac spontaneously reveals light cassis liquor aromas in typical Bordeaux vintage form (fresh and vibrant). Aeration brings out intensity while preserving the freshness and dark fruits notes. The palate is elegant, striking, with tight yet balanced texture for a wine focused on sophistication. The whole is smooth, round, with notions of crunchy raisins and a really generous, forward finish. The well-born 2006 Grand-Puy-Lacoste shows great keeping potential.
