Description
2009 Pauillac 5e Cru Classe from Bordeaux
Chateau Haut-Batailley vineyard is located south-west of Pauillac appellation, and lies on 22 hectares (54.3 acres) Garonne gravel soils. The 2009 vintage is a perfect blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (78%), Merlot (20%) and Cabernet Franc (2%).
This 5e Cru Classe from Bordeaux reveals deep, dense hue, and lovely scents of lightly spiced and concentrated fruit. The palate offers a lot of finesse, and is elegant, balanced, altogether charming and quite seductive. The 2009 vintage distinctive Haut-Batailley character is even more vibrant.
