Description
A Saint-Émilion Grand Cru red wine with magnificent depth
Château Le Prieuré is a Grand Cru Classé produced in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation. The vines, 44-year-old on average grow on a 6.24-hectare estate planted on a limestone plateau. The harvest took place between the 12th and 20th of October. The 2016 vintage blends 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
At tasting, the Château Le Prieuré 2016 expresses an exceptionally rich and intense nose. Dense with intense tannins on the palate, this wine of great character proves to be extremely deep. To keep until 2050 or later.
