Château Marsau 2010

2010 Francs Côtes de Bordeaux, pure Merlot.   

The year 2010 was an extraordinary vintage year. The 2010 Chateau Marsau is an unctuous and silky pure Merlot.
This 2010 Francs Côtes de Bordeaux displays an almost black-tinted deep, bright red colour with beautiful purple glints. The nose is very complex and very intense; it gives off dark berry notes followed by grilled aromas of roasted coffee bean, balsamic notes and mineral gunflint hints. The 2010 Chateau Marsau offers a very harmonious palate enhanced by a good balance between an unctuous structure, very silky tannins and remarkable freshness. This wine is a wonderful 2010 vintage with a very good length on the palate.
