Château Prieuré-Lichine 2008

Bordeaux - Margaux - Red - 13° Château Prieuré-Lichine Château Prieuré-Lichine 2008 1017/08
  • Parker : 90
  • J. Robinson : 16.5+

Prieuré-Lichine 2008 is a result of patience and precision. The incredible wine-making expertise offset challenging weather conditions - cold rainy summer- which called for low turn-out. Thankfully, September's ideal dry weather arrived just in time to warrant high-quality grapes. The long vinification yielded charming wines with pleasant aromas, balanced, quite distinguished, and lovely density. Very elegant Margaux.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
A sleeper of the vintage, this is a pure sexpot of a Margaux with lots of spring flower, jammy black cherry, black currant, graphite and smoky characteristics. With loads of fruit, a round, opulent texture and outstanding purity, this up-front, evolved, classic, medium to full-bodied Margaux can be enjoyed now and over the next 10-15 years.
