A vibrant and aromatic white wine from Côtes de Provence
The estate
Recognised as a Cru Classé in 1955, Château Sainte Marguerite began its modern history in 1977 with the arrival of the Fayard family. Located along the Provençal coastline, this estate of around 450 hectares is today run by Olivier and Enzo Fayard, who have been partnered with the Pernod Ricard group since 2022. Marketed under the Sainte Marguerite en Provence brand, the property stands out for its environmental commitment, offering cuvées that are fully certified organic and vegan, and establishing itself as a leading reference among the great wines of Provence.
The vineyard
The grapes for this cuvée come from the terroirs of La Londe and Pierrefeu, in the Var. This vineyard within the Côtes de Provence appellation enjoys a warm and dry Mediterranean climate. The vines are planted on well-exposed hillsides with free-draining soils made up of schists and clay-siliceous earth scattered with pebbles and shattered quartz.
The vintage
The 2025 growing season offered climatic conditions that yielded a harmonious vintage. The harvest took place early, between August and the beginning of September, ensuring a perfect balance between berry ripeness, freshness and an excellent sanitary condition.
Winemaking and aging
The making of Château Sainte Marguerite Symphonie 2025 begins with a light cold skin maceration prior to pressing. Fermentation is then carried out under temperature control. Finally, the wine benefits from ageing in vats on its fine lees, followed by fining and filtration before bottling.
Grape variety
This wine is made from 100% Rolle (also known as Vermentino), from a massal selection.
