The estate
Founded in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son Christophe, Domaine de la Mordorée now spans 42 hectares in the Southern Rhône Valley, across eight communes. Currently led by Madeleine Delorme and her daughter Ambre since Christophe’s passing in 2015, the estate produces wines under the Tavel, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône, and Condrieu appellations. A pioneer in biodynamics since 2020, it stands out for its cuvées with poetic names inspired by the woodcock, notably “La Reine des Bois.”
The vineyard
