The estate
Established in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son Christophe in the Southern Rhône Valley, Domaine de la Mordorée now thrives on 42 hectares across eight communes. Led by Madeleine and Ambre Delorme since 2015, the estate crafts wines under six renowned appellations: Tavel, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône, Condrieu, and Vin de France. Certified organic since 2013 and biodynamic since 2020, the domaine is distinguished by its poetic nomenclature inspired by the woodcock.
The vineyard
Tableau de Terroir "Les Sables" is a Vin de France from sandy soils farmed according to organic principles and Demeter-certified biodynamics.
Winemaking and aging
The harvest is carried out entirely by hand with meticulous sorting of the grapes. The winemaking of Tableau de Terroir “Les Sables” Clairette 2024 follows an organic approach. After destemming and crushing, the grapes undergo direct pressing with temperature control.
