The Estate

Founded in 1986 by Francis and Christophe Delorme, la Mordorée is now run by Madeleine and Ambre Delorme, who carry on the family legacy with passion. This benchmark estate stands out for its deep environmental commitment, with a vineyard entirely certified organic, High Environmental Value (HVE 3) and biodynamic (Demeter). Renowned for the precision of its wines, the estate combines respect for biodiversity, hand harvesting and the creation of unique single-parcel micro-cuvées.

The Vineyard

Classified as Vin de France, this limited-edition micro-cuvée comes from a rigorous selection of plots within the estate. The specific terroir of "Les Sables" is characterised by shallow, sandy soils that provide excellent drainage and encourage the vines, whose average age reaches 50 years, to root deeply. Swept by the mistral, this natural environment is cultivated with the utmost respect for biodiversity, following the principles of biodynamics. This preserved ecosystem allows the grape variety to flourish fully.

Winemaking and Ageing

For the Tableau de Terroir "Les Sables" Clairette 2025 cuvée, the grapes are entirely hand-harvested and then rigorously sorted.
