100% Chardonnay, this wine is the product of a sunny terroir -East South East facing - situated mid-hillside and with perfect drainage. The 2011 Montrachet Grand Cru from Domaine Jacques Prieur is aged for 22 months in new oak barrels. The luminous green-gold color gradually reveals a very complex nose defined mineral iodine and flint notes with hints of pepper, anise and soft acacia flowers. The palate is rich, powerful and dense with more mineral notes and a strong salinity.
