The Estate
Domaine Laroche began its family story in 1850, when Jean Victor Laroche acquired his first plot in Chablis, in Burgundy. Today, the estate extends over 90 hectares, including 21 hectares of Premier Cru and 6 hectares of Grand Cru vineyards. Since 2023, Antoine Leccia has served as Chairman, while Jean-Baptiste Mouton is Managing Director, within the AdVini group. The estate is known for its historic headquarters at the Obédiencerie, a former monastery in Chablis, and for its dedication to Chardonnay.
The Vineyard
Les Bouguerots is a plot within the Bougros Climat, the westernmost of the Grand Cru vineyards of Chablis, located on a steep slope beside the Serein river. Facing south and south-west, it rests on Kimmeridgian subsoil covered by a 30-centimetre layer of clay that promotes water retention in summer. The vines, derived from a massal selection of the estate's historic old vines, cover an area of 0.31 hectare.
